How do I apply to volunteer at an event?
Apply via the online application. We do not take postal applications. Volunteer applications will open up in may/june. We’ll get back to you within a week to let you know if you’re successful.
Will there be in Orientation meeting?
You will get more information, once you get accepted, but we can already inform you now that our orientation meetings will take place on Tuesday, 12th of November and Wednesday, 13th of November at 18:00 at Ex Caserma Guido Reni, the same venue where the festival will take place.

How and where do I check in?
First, go to Volunteer Headquarters (follow signs!). Once there, you will receive your volunteer wristband and any last-minute information. Next, let your Group Manager know you have arrived. They will let you know what to do next. Have fun!
Can I be on the same shifts as my friends?
We try as far as possible to put friends on the same volunteer shifts but we cannot please all of you all of the time on this front. If you wish to be on the same volunteer shift with friends, the best advice we can give you is to arrive on site for accreditation EARLY and let us know you would like to be together. Please not that on some tasks we must pick your volunteer shifts for you in the interests of fairness. Remember that volunteering at a festival is also a great way to make new friends as many previous volunteers will tell you.
Who is in charge of YouthMundus festival volunteers?
Our volunteer coordinator and manager is.
Travel and accommodation costs
You must provide and pay for your own travel to and from the festival and for your accommodation. We encourage all of our volunteers to use public transport or car share wherever possible.
Bottom line
Everybody does the tasks that are asked of them, sticks to the hours they are given, turns up for their shifts on time and in good condition, abides by the Volunteer Policy, follows the relevant event rules, then everybody will be delighted with you and you will be welcomed back next year.
